Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Palmdale, CA

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Holds a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
• Valid state license (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome.
• Previous experience in a school setting and with a high school student caseload strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to high school students in accordance with IEPs.
• Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required.
• Educate and provide resources to families and teachers on effective communication strategies.
