Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Valid state licensure or the ability to obtain it for school-based work
  • Experience or strong interest in working with adolescent populations across high school, non-public, or private schools
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes and best practices in school-based speech therapy
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on students’ educational needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams
  • Maintain documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
  • Offer guidance and strategies to teachers and families for student support and progress
  • Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment that supports student achievement
