Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Valid state licensure or the ability to obtain it for school-based work
- Experience or strong interest in working with adolescent populations across high school, non-public, or private schools
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and best practices in school-based speech therapy
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on students’ educational needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams
- Maintain documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
- Offer guidance and strategies to teachers and families for student support and progress
