Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of current best practices in speech therapy for school-aged children
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Assess students using appropriate evaluation tools and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver direct and indirect speech and language services to students according to IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create inclusive learning environments
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress, and communications
  • Support students’ academic and social development through targeted interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress reviews
