Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (CA state-required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience working within school environments is highly valued
- Proficient in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering evidence-based therapy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to student care
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in group and individual settings
- Complete evaluations and assessments to identify student needs and monitor progress
- Develop, implement, and update IEP goals in close partnership with interdisciplinary teams
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support carry-over of skills into the classroom and home
- Maintain detailed records, documentation, and compliance with all district, state, and federal guidelines
