School Speech Language Pathologist - Palo Alto, California

Step into an impactful position supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract role is based near vibrant Palo Alto, CA, working on-site with elementary and preschool students. Dedicated to providing comprehensive services to a diverse caseload, you will be instrumental in helping students develop crucial speech and language skills for lifelong learning and success.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current or eligibility for SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or SLP-CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year)
• Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Experience with school-aged children, especially at the preschool and elementary level, preferred
• Strong collaboration, organizational, and communication skills
• Commitment to delivering hands-on, in-person support (position is on-site only)

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting assessments and providing therapy for students with communication disorders
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ IEP goals
• Monitoring and documenting students’ progress toward therapy objectives
• Providing guidance and education to parents and staff on communication strategies
• Ensuring compliance with state and federal educational requirements
