Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience working in schools, ideally with K-12 populations
- Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, and IEP processes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based therapy services, both individually and in groups
- Document progress and collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Lead or participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide guidance and resources to teachers and classroom staff to support students’ success
- Stay current with best practices and professional development within the field
