Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Previous experience working in schools, ideally with K-12 populations
  • Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, and IEP processes
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy services, both individually and in groups
  • Document progress and collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists
  • Lead or participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Provide guidance and resources to teachers and classroom staff to support students’ success
  • Stay current with best practices and professional development within the field
