A part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Park Ridge, IL. This contract position offers 15-20 hours per week in a school setting, focusing on pediatric clients in educational environments. The role is ideal for professionals holding an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for school-aged children.
- Provide therapy to address speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student communication goals.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech Language Pathologist with CCC or currently in CFY.
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric healthcare settings.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development in children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
