Your assignment will focus on a self-contained special education (SPED) program, serving students ages 3-22, with a manageable caseload of 18 students. This full-time position allows you to make a meaningful difference and develop strong professional relationships.
Qualifications/Experience Sought:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Current or eligible SLP licensure in Illinois
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) acceptable
- Previous experience in pediatric, school-based, and/or healthcare SLP roles
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms preferred
- Experience working with students in self-contained SPED settings is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to students ages 3-22 within a self-contained program
- Carry a caseload of 18 students, conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing therapy plans
- Collaborate with other special education staff, parents, and caregivers
- Deliver therapy in-person and, if applicable, via teletherapy platforms
