A K-12 school in Parlin, NJ, is seeking a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide support two days a week on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY). This role focuses on assisting other therapists and requires experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with therapists to support students with speech and communication needs
- Implement AAC strategies and techniques effectively in the classroom and therapy sessions
- Conduct speech-language assessments and assist in developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
- Proficiency in AAC tools and methods
