Make a difference in the lives of students by providing vital speech-language pathology services in a dynamic, school-based environment. This full-time, on-site contract opportunity focuses primarily on early childhood through elementary grades, serving PreK–12th grade students. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to support speech, language, and communication development, creating a lasting, positive impact on student success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Michigan SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Experience or strong interest in serving early childhood populations
  • Familiarity with school-based SLP responsibilities and caseloads
  • If applying as a Clinical Fellow (CF), a qualified supervisor must be arranged in advance
  • Commitment to in-person, onsite work; remote/virtual work is not available for this assignment

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students across PreK–12th grade (heavily weighted towards early childhood)
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver group and individual therapy based on student needs and goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize outcomes
  • Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all state and district requirements
  • Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings as a valued team member
