Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ communication development in a vibrant educational community. Two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are needed for a contract position serving both Buffalo Creek Middle School and Prine Elementary. Buffalo Creek offers a four-day assignment with a caseload of approximately 50 students receiving direct therapy, plus 10 on consult, within low cognitive and behavior units. At Prine, you’ll collaborate with a skilled SLP and outstanding SLPA, working with early childhood and special education classes—totaling about 95 students across intensive Pre-K, ASD, Integrated PK, ESE PK, and low cognitive groups.

Applicants must hold a Florida SLP license at the master’s level. Both experienced SLPs (with CCCs or CFY) are encouraged to apply. This role requires presence on-site to foster collaboration and engagement with students and faculty.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Florida SLP license (Master’s degree required)
  • Experience with diverse caseloads including Pre-K, ASD, and students with intellectual or behavioral disabilities
  • Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with other SLPs and SLPAs
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload efficiently
  • Compassionate, flexible approach to therapy and student engagement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services for designated caseload
  • Provide consultative support to students and staff
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Engage in collaboration with teachers, therapists, and school leadership
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services and progress
