Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in Texas (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFs are welcome)
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Knowledge of IEP process, progress monitoring, and best practices for students with speech and language needs
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessment and evaluation of students’ speech, language, and communication skills
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ IEPs
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to optimize student progress
- Document services, maintain accurate records, and participate in meetings as required
- Deliver engaging interventions that foster growth and confidence in every learner
