School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Pasadena, Texas

This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for both Clinical Fellows and experienced clinicians looking to take on a focused caseload without the burden of extensive ARD facilitation or assistant supervision.

You’ll be responsible for ARD prep that is limited to present levels, goals, and service time recommendations, and will only need to attend speech-only ARDs. With an assistant already serving most students under another SLP’s supervision, you’ll be able to zero in on evaluations and direct therapy, giving you time for impactful work with your students.

What you’ll bring:

• Active SLP license in Texas (CCC or CFY considered)
• Experience providing speech-language therapy in school settings
• Knowledge of ARD processes and ability to contribute present levels, goals, and service recommendations
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Commitment to supporting the academic and social success of elementary-aged children

What you’ll do:

• Conduct speech-language evaluations for students as needed
• Provide direct therapy services 1-2 days per week
• Complete ARD documentation focusing on present levels, goal development, and service time
• Attend speech-only ARDs to advocate for your students
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
