Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Paterson, NJ

Preferred Background & Skills:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants considered.
• Experience working with pediatric, preschool, and/or early childhood populations.
• Proficiency or interest in teletherapy along with in-person service delivery.
• Familiarity with school-based documentation and IEP processes.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for preschool-aged children.
• Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans, targeting communication, articulation, language, and social skills.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other related services providers to support student success.
• Complete necessary documentation, progress reports, and contribute to the IEP process.
• Offer direct and consultative services, both in person and via teletherapy as needed.
