Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Paterson, New Jersey

This contract runs from June 22 to July 24, with a convenient Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Serve a diverse K-12 caseload, helping children maximize their communication skills during the critical summer period.

Bring your expertise to a supportive educational setting, working closely with students, families, and school staff to provide impactful speech and language therapy services. Both seasoned Speech-Language Pathologists with CCC and those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply and grow in their careers.

What makes you a great fit:

• Current, valid Speech-Language Pathology license in New Jersey (or ability to obtain before start date)
• CCC-SLP certification or eligibility for CFY supervision
• Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and/or K-12 populations
• Familiarity with the school-based setting and IEP processes preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

What you’ll do each day:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to a varied K-12 student caseload
• Conduct evaluations and write assessment reports in accordance with ESY needs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services and compliance with federal and state regulations
