This is a rewarding opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about working in pediatrics and supporting K-5 students in a dynamic educational environment. The position offers a chance to engage with approximately 45 students through 8-9 sessions per day at a single campus, providing continuity of care and meaningful relationship-building with both students and staff. The assignment will begin September 14, 2026 (with a possibility to start a day or two earlier for onboarding and preparation), and continues through December 18th.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in school settings and/or pediatric healthcare strongly preferred
- Proficiency in teletherapy approaches and digital documentation
- Ability to collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain state licensure prior to start date
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services to K-5 students
- Deliver therapy in individual and group settings—both in-person and through teletherapy as needed
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and maintain detailed progress notes
- Communicate effectively with families and school teams to support student goals
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and multidisciplinary planning
