Apply NowStep into a vital role supporting elementary-aged learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist, covering a maternity leave from September 22, 2026, through January 27, 2027. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work with approximately 30 students from Kindergarten through 5th grade, fostering their communication, language, and social development within a collaborative and rewarding school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required, although Clinical Fellows (CFY) will be considered
- Experience with pediatric populations and school-aged children strongly preferred
- Prior background in teletherapy and healthcare settings is a plus
- New Jersey state license (or eligibility) for SLPs
- Strong interpersonal, organization, and technology skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students in Kindergarten–5th grade
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, screenings, and progress updates
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop strategies that promote students’ language and communication success
- Engage in teletherapy as needed to ensure continuity of services
- Participate in team and professional development meetings during the assignment
