Step into a vital role supporting elementary-aged learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist, covering a maternity leave from September 22, 2026, through January 27, 2027. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work with approximately 30 students from Kindergarten through 5th grade, fostering their communication, language, and social development within a collaborative and rewarding school environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required, although Clinical Fellows (CFY) will be considered
  • Experience with pediatric populations and school-aged children strongly preferred
  • Prior background in teletherapy and healthcare settings is a plus
  • New Jersey state license (or eligibility) for SLPs
  • Strong interpersonal, organization, and technology skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students in Kindergarten–5th grade
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations, screenings, and progress updates
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop strategies that promote students’ language and communication success
  • Engage in teletherapy as needed to ensure continuity of services
  • Participate in team and professional development meetings during the assignment
