Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Paterson, NJ

Step into a rewarding school-based role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant academic environment! This full-time contract opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule from 8:15AM to 3:15PM, working 35 hours per week with the academic calendar running from September 4th through June 25th. You’ll provide essential speech and language services to a dedicated caseload at an elementary site, making a real impact every day.

Ideal Experience and Credentials:

• Valid New Jersey SLP license (CCC required)
• School-based SLP experience essential
• Capacity to manage an elementary school caseload independently
• Strong command over evaluations, assessments, and therapy documentation
• Efficient in providing direct services and collaborating with educators
• Reliable transportation and punctual commute
• Comfortable integrating into district teams and adapting to school protocols
• Must be prepared to complete onboarding steps (TB test, physical, required fingerprinting)
• Unable to consider Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants at this time due to supervision constraints

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted and group speech-language therapy to elementary students
• Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor progress
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
• Maintain timely records, reports, and compliance documentation
