This full-time leave coverage (September to October) offers a dynamic caseload in a supportive K-12 school environment. You’ll collaborate with dedicated staff and work with students across elementary, middle, and high school settings, providing essential support that helps them thrive academically and socially.

Highlights of the Position:

  • Full-time, 5 days per week during regular school hours
  • Serve elementary, middle, and high school students, with the majority of the caseload at the middle school level
  • Elementary coverage: approximately 1.5 days/week (15 students)
  • Caseload ranges from speech-only students to those eligible for special education, including students in self-contained LLD and AU programs
  • Typical schedules: Elementary (8:45am-3:00pm), Middle School (8:30am-2:50pm), High School (8:05am-3:00pm)
  • Contract role covering an upcoming leave

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state SLP license and ASHA CCC required
  • Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads strongly preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and diverse student needs
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
  • Flexible, compassionate, and proactive approach to therapy and communication

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and create progress reports
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with special education staff, classroom teachers, and families
  • Support students ranging from those with mild speech challenges to those in specialized programs
