Key Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credential accepted
  • Previous experience working in schools preferred, but strong CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop individualized treatment plans for students ranging from mild to complex needs
  • Flexibility and adaptability within dynamic school environments
  • Commitment to fostering student growth and advocating for best outcomes

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Develop and implement effective IEPs tailored to individual student needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services for speech, language, and communication disorders onsite
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to maximize student support
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Offer consultative guidance to staff and families regarding communication strategies in the classroom
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team
