Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Patrick Springs, VA

Work with a diverse K-12 caseload, providing much-needed support to students and collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and school staff.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Virginia
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are welcome to apply
• Passion for working with school-aged children across grades K-12
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with Common Core standards and IEP process

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions tailored to students’ needs
• Conduct thorough evaluations and write clear, accurate reports
• Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to IEPs
• Engage with families to support student progress and carryover of skills into classroom and home environments
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and school guidelines
