Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) will be considered
- Previous experience in a school setting with K-12 populations is highly desirable
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with teachers, parents, and school staff
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, and interventions across K-12 grade levels
- Develop, monitor, and update IEP goals in alignment with educational standards and student needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support
- Document and report student progress; maintain accurate records as required by state and district guidelines
- Conduct group and individual therapy sessions to address speech, language, fluency, and articulation challenges
- Provide resources and consultation to teachers and parents for classroom integration of language strategies
