Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credential required
- Current state license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish rapport with students, families, and educators
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with families and school teams
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare required reports
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support personnel to deliver integrated therapy services
- Support students in achieving their communication goals to promote educational success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on speech and language issues
