Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CFY or CCC required)
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred, but open to both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement appropriate therapy plans based on individual educational needs
- Dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students per Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Complete thorough assessments and evaluations to determine students’ therapy needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and family members to support each student’s progress
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, helping to set realistic, measurable goals
- Provide consultation and training to school staff as needed
