This contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with elementary, middle, and high school students across a range of needs. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7:45 am to 3:30 pm, with a full-year contract covering 187 days (prorated based on the time of hire), and potential for continued placement into the following academic year if there’s a strong match.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or eligibility for state licensure
- Previous experience within school settings or pediatric populations preferred
- Familiarity with both direct therapy and consultative service delivery models
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload spanning elementary, middle, and high school levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide both direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students (38 elementary, 13 middle, and 1 high school student)
- Conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and document student progress
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student success and promote generalization of skills
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams, offering your expertise and recommendations
- Maintain thorough, timely records and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
