This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals passionate about pediatric and school-based speech services, and covers a maternity leave from September 28 to December 18, 2026.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure for speech-language pathology or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations, particularly PreK-3rd grade
- Strong understanding of school-based SLP practices and procedures
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students in PreK to 3rd grade
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and staff
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
- Foster a supportive, positive classroom environment conducive to student growth
- Provide consultation to educators regarding language, articulation, and communication strategies
