Make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist supporting PreK through 3rd grade students. This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals passionate about pediatric and school-based speech services, and covers a maternity leave from September 28 to December 18, 2026.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure for speech-language pathology or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience working with pediatric populations, particularly PreK-3rd grade
  • Strong understanding of school-based SLP practices and procedures
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students in PreK to 3rd grade
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and staff
  • Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Foster a supportive, positive classroom environment conducive to student growth
  • Provide consultation to educators regarding language, articulation, and communication strategies
