Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure (SLP-CCC or eligible CFY candidates welcome)
- Experience with school-aged caseloads, particularly elementary students
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and effective therapy setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to elementary students, tailoring sessions to individual needs
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop IEP goals in accordance with school protocols
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive student support
- Maintain thorough documentation and track student progress toward therapy goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, conferences, and ongoing professional development
