Grades 6 - 8 Certified School Speech Language Pathologist - Pawnee, Oklahoma

Experience a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or SLP-CF) with an immediate start in a welcoming school environment. You'll work on-site, engaging with learners from Pre-K through 5th grade, helping them thrive both in and out of the classroom. Your expertise will be central to guiding children with mild to moderate articulation and language needs toward greater confidence and communication skills.

This contracted position offers a stable Monday-Friday schedule, running from 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, including a 30-minute lunch break. The current caseload consists of approximately 50 elementary students, all primarily integrated into general education classrooms. You’ll provide a blend of pull-out and push-in therapy services, collaborating closely with teaching staff to support student success.

Qualifications:

• Valid SLP licensure or eligibility to begin Clinical Fellowship (CF) year
• Certification to practice in school settings (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience with elementary-aged students is highly desirable, though new graduates are welcome
• Strong understanding of mild/moderate articulation and language disorders in children
• Ability to work effectively in both individual and small group settings
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to assigned caseload (PK-5)
• Perform evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress monitoring
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to deliver services in both push-in and pull-out formats
• Document therapy, prepare IEP paperwork, and participate in meetings as needed
• Engage with families and school staff, providing strategies and support
