Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Pawtucket, RI

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Active SLP license issued by the state board (or eligibility for licensure)
• CCC-SLP credentials, or eligibility to complete your CFY under supervision
• Previous experience working with high school students or within school-based settings is a plus
• Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

What You'll Do:

• Evaluate students for speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support student success
• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions as appropriate
• Document progress, maintain thorough records, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
• Provide guidance, resources, and strategies to support generalization of communication skills in the classroom
