Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Pawtucket, RI

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP license (or eligibility) for practice
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
• Previous experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings
• Competency in teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery
• Strong communication, time management, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, families, and school staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose communication disorders in children of varying age groups
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Provide direct speech and language therapy, both on-site and via teletherapy
• Document progress, maintain records, and communicate results to stakeholders
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team consultations
• Provide guidance and resources to educators and families to support student growth
• Stay current with best practices and continuing education requirements
