As a full-time SLP working with elementary students, you’ll gain exposure to diverse school-based practices and collaborate with different teams, enhancing your clinical skillset. Key Qualifications:

  • Current SLP-CCC certification and active licensure
  • Enrollment in the Rhode Island Medicare program required
  • Experience or passion for working in a school-based setting
  • Willingness to work full time and travel locally among school sites/community centers
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for an elementary caseload
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Travel to other community centers within the district as needed
  • Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and Medicaid guidelines
