Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Peabody, MA

Make a significant impact in early childhood education by supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at the PreK level. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services across community and PreK sites, nurturing the communication skills fundamental to young learners’ success.

In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with educators and families to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in young children. With a focused caseload of 10-15 PreK students and a part-time schedule of 15 hours per week, you can dedicate meaningful time and expertise to each student.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Valid state licensure as required for SLPs
• Previous experience or strong interest in early childhood/pre-kindergarten settings
• Ability to work with diverse student populations and adapt strategies to individual needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with staff and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct therapy sessions to PreK students within the school and community environments
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with applicable regulations
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate speech goals into the classroom
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute professional insight to the team
• Support students’ generalization of new communication skills into daily routines
