Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, active Massachusetts SLP license
- Valid MA Department of Education (DOE) educator certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere
- Passion for fostering student development and engagement
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students with varied communication needs
- Conduct evaluations, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Support programming and professional development as needed
- Participate in ongoing training and comply with all state and school district regulations
