Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Active licensure for Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Georgia (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior school-based SLP experience highly valued
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy services in individual and group settings
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to support students’ educational and social development
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation according to district and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional insights to multidisciplinary teams
