Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active licensure for Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Georgia (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior school-based SLP experience highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver evidence-based therapy services in individual and group settings
- Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to support students’ educational and social development
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation according to district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional insights to multidisciplinary teams
