Step into a rewarding contract role supporting elementary-aged students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. With a well-defined caseload of approximately 60 students—including intervention groups, students in an ECSE classroom, a self-contained K-4th classroom, and a behavioral support program—you’ll join a dynamic school environment focused on student growth.
What We're Looking For:
- Valid SLP license and CCC credentials
- Strong background in pediatric speech-language pathology, with direct school-based experience (school setting experience is required)
- Previous experience working in Texas schools preferred
- Ability to support students with diverse needs, including self-contained and behavioral programs
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and record-keeping skills
- Not accepting Clinical Fellowship (CF) applicants for this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, intervention, and therapy services for elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal student outcomes
- Document progress and maintain compliance with all school and state guidelines
- Flex service delivery to meet the needs of general education, special education, and behavioral support students
- Integrate evidence-based practices and individualized strategies in therapy sessions
- 37.5 hours per week during the school year
