Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Pecatonica, Illinois

Exciting opportunity available for a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a fulfilling contract assignment. Desired Skills and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Illinois SLP licensure or eligibility
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants welcome
• Experience or strong interest in working within school-based or pediatric environments
• Proficiency with teletherapy tools and approaches is a plus
• Outstanding communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to develop individualized plans and collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students at the elementary school
• Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to integrate therapy goals within the classroom
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
• Communicate progress and recommendations to families and multidisciplinary teams
• Adapt therapy approaches as needed, including in-person and teletherapy sessions
