Qualifications & Skills:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in New Mexico (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Ability to adapt to varied caseloads and manage responsibilities independently
- Strong communication and collaborative skills, with a passion for student-centered therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and document student progress
- Deliver direct therapy individually or in groups, tailored to student needs
- Work closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and consult on effective classroom strategies
