This contract opportunity is available for a talented SLP who wants to support student growth and communication skills for the 2026/2027 school year. Work closely with educators and families to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment, helping students reach their full academic and social potential.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP in Alabama
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
  • Superb communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic interventions to K-12 students with speech, language, and communication difficulties
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with federal, state, and school guidelines
  • Participate in student evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress assessments
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, parents, and other support staff to address student needs
  • Provide guidance and resources to educators regarding communication strategies in the classroom
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by the school and regulatory guidelines
