Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for the state of Alabama
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Prior experience supporting students in school settings preferred
- Outstanding communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in alignment with educational goals
- Maintain thorough and accurate progress documentation and reporting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s IEP objectives
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress and recommendations
- Participate in IEP and team meetings as needed
