Seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, SLP-CCC) for a contract opportunity supporting a middle school student community. This position offers a dynamic setting where your expertise will provide critical mandated services and, potentially, expanded support for evaluations and meetings.

This role is part-time, with a commitment of approximately 6 hours per week to fulfill required student services. There is potential to increase hours to 10-12 per week depending on departmental needs and your availability for evaluations or team meetings. To best accommodate students’ schedules and service delivery, candidates must be available to work back-to-back mornings (7:45-11:00 am) on designated days. The assignment is anticipated to last the full school year, with ongoing needs subject to potential adjustment based on district staffing.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current and active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure for practice
  • Prior experience working in educational settings or with middle school-aged children preferred
  • Ability to conduct assessments, deliver individualized services, and participate in team-based planning
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student needs in a school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language services per mandated IEP requirements
  • Conduct assessments and prepare relevant documentation
  • Participate in case conferences, IEP meetings, and team collaboration
  • Maintain thorough and timely student records
  • Collaborate effectively with educators and families to support student growth
