Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students for the upcoming school year! This contract opportunity offers a consistent 8-hour weekly schedule with the possibility to increase hours, giving you flexibility while you help students reach their communication goals.

Ideal candidates bring expertise providing speech-language services in school settings, either as a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) or completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY). You’ll evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders directly with students, collaborating with educators and families to foster student success.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Active state Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility)
  • SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY status required
  • Prior experience in a school environment preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are welcome
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion for supporting students at various ability levels

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language screenings, assessments, and re-evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Deliver direct therapy and consultation services in accordance with established IEPs
  • Document student progress and maintain detailed records
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ goals
  • Participate in team meetings and provide guidance for fostering accessible learning environments
