Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Current state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
  • Experience working with elementary or pediatric populations
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Organizational skills for managing documentation and varying student needs
  • Enthusiasm for supporting diverse learners in a school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of 40-45 elementary students
  • Conduct assessments, write reports, and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement student accommodations
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
  • Provide consultative support to staff and families to promote carryover of skills
