Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in supporting elementary-aged students’ communication skills at a single site, fostering growth and success among a caseload of approximately 40-45 children in grades TK through 5. The assignment offers a contract length of 160-170 days, allowing you to make a meaningful difference over the course of the school year.

What we’re looking for:

  • Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience working with elementary-age students preferred
  • Comfortable managing a caseload of 40-45 students
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations of students’ speech and language abilities
  • Develop and implement therapeutic interventions aligned with students’ IEP goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, aides, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain thorough records and progress notes for each student
  • Attend team meetings and communicate student progress effectively
  • Provide support and resources to staff and families as needed
