Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SLP-CCC certification
  • Valid state license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred

  • Compassion, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy for students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to determine students’ needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate communication strategies across classrooms
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reporting
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight to student support teams
  • Develop and adapt therapy materials to meet unique student requirements
  • Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere for all students
