This rewarding, full-time opportunity (40 hours/week) focuses on a highly specialized program designed for learners with Autism, serving an approximate caseload of 50 students. Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license and/or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY status
- Strong background in pediatric speech therapy, with preference for prior school-based and/or healthcare SLP experience
- Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and modalities is a plus
- Experience working with children on the autism spectrum, ideally within school or specialized settings
- Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to individualized, evidence-based intervention planning
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services for students in K-8th grades with Autism
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to foster a supportive, communicative environment
- Utilize both in-person and teletherapy methods as needed for diverse learners
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Serve as a resource and advocate for effective communication strategies throughout the school community
