Your assignment includes providing speech and language services across three sites, with a convenient home base for your resources and paperwork. You’ll interact closely with Head Start and Early Head Start teams, work collaboratively on IEPs with the district, support home visitors, and assist parents in fostering their child’s development.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
• Current SLP licensure in Illinois (or eligibility)
• Experience with early intervention or birth-5 population preferred
• Confident working on IEP teams and collaborating with multiple stakeholders
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide speech/language services to children ages birth to five across multiple sites
• Collaborate on IEP development and implementation with district teams
• Support/assist home visitors as required by ISSP/IEP plans
• Empower and engage parents in their children’s growth
• Serve as a resource at a main “home base” while rotating among locations
