K-5 Grades 6 - 8 School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Perry, Georgia

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Georgia SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before starting)
• Experience or strong comfort level working with students in Grades K-12
• Knowledge of IEP development, data collection, progress monitoring, and compliance
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in varied school environments

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect speech and language services to students in grades K–12
• Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and screenings as needed to determine eligibility and student needs
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, support personnel, and families to address student goals
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date progress notes, documentation, and reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Provide consultation and support for classroom strategies and accommodations
