Exciting contract opportunity available for a Speech-Language Pathologist interested in supporting extended school year (ESY) services for the summer session. Work with a dynamic group of students and professionals, focusing on the impactful delivery of speech and language support for children in a school-based setting. This assignment runs from June 29 to July 30, 2026, with convenient weekday morning hours—perfect for maintaining a balanced summer schedule.
The selected professional will provide essential speech-language services to students in a collaborative learning environment, ensuring continuity of care and student progress throughout the ESY program.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates considered
- Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to develop and implement IEP goals, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy to students ages PreK–12 in accordance with their IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Complete session notes and maintain accurate documentation
- Work alongside education staff to support student achievement and participation
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, providing updates and recommendations
