Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Adaptable, positive mindset with a commitment to student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions—both individual and group—tailored to student goals
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families on strategies to support student progress within the curriculum
- Monitor and track student improvement, updating IEPs and maintaining thorough documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations for student care
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field of speech-language pathology
