Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, but open to Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Experience or comfort working in school settings with children ages Pre-K through 12
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
- Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, progress, and service delivery
- Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services to students, adapting to their unique needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to help guide educational decisions
- Communicate regularly with teachers, administration, and families to support student growth
