School Speech Language Pathologist - Peru, IN

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current SLP license valid in the state
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) considered
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a collaborative team

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students referred for services
• Develop, implement, and update individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide direct therapy services tailored to students’ unique needs
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support classroom strategies and generalization of skills
• Maintain accurate records and document progress in accordance with school policies and federal/state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff workshops, professional development, and parent conferences
