School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Petaluma, California

We are seeking a dedicated professional who holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) and is ready to start as soon as possible, serving through the end of the school year. This rewarding contract role offers over 35 hours per week and involves working on site to support students and assist with the current caseload.

In this position, you will play a vital role in the academic, social, and emotional growth of students by providing high-quality speech and language services. Your skills will help reduce the present workload, ensuring students continue to receive the attention they need to achieve their communication goals.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current and valid SLP-CCC certification
• Relevant state license to practice as an SLP
• Prior school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Ability to start quickly and commit through the end of the school year

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Evaluate and document student progress, maintaining accurate records
• Collaborate with general and special education teachers, staff, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations
• Contribute to a supportive, positive learning environment
