In this position, you will play a vital role in the academic, social, and emotional growth of students by providing high-quality speech and language services. Your skills will help reduce the present workload, ensuring students continue to receive the attention they need to achieve their communication goals.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid SLP-CCC certification
- Relevant state license to practice as an SLP
- Prior school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to start quickly and commit through the end of the school year
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Evaluate and document student progress, maintaining accurate records
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers, staff, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations
- Contribute to a supportive, positive learning environment
