Speech Language Pathologist in Petaluma, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Valid SLP license and California certification
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a dynamic educational setting
• Strong organization and time management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy onsite for students with diverse needs
• Conduct assessments, reevaluations, and assist in developing IEP goals
• Work alongside special education staff, teachers, and parents to promote student success
• Assist with documentation and progress reports according to district protocols
• Support students’ communication, language, and social interactions
• Contribute expertise to intervention planning and team meetings
• Manage a 35+ hour week, ensuring comprehensive support as assigned
