Desired Background and Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience working with school-aged or pediatric populations
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Passion for helping students achieve their communication goals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams
  • Provide direct, evidence-based therapy to elementary students in a school environment
  • Maintain detailed and timely progress notes and reports
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert input to collaborative planning
