School Speech Language Pathologist - Petaluma, California

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
• Previous experience working in educational or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
• Provide direct therapeutic services to students in either a middle school or across two elementary sites
• Monitor student progress and document outcomes in accordance with school and federal guidelines
• Engage with staff and caregivers to offer support, training, and updates on student development
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and school activities as required
